About Aviation Ground Support
AGS opened for business in November 2004 at London Stansted, and gained a full handling license for passenger and ramp handling in April 2005, moving thousands of passengers and their luggage smoothly through the airport.
Having built a very successful business with the emphasis on flexibility and efficiency within the airport and airline community our team rightly earned themselves a reputation that would be the envy of many larger organizations.
In 2006 AGS acquired an aircraft cleaning and catering company at Norwich International Airport, also looking after the janitorial needs of the airport facility and surrounding area. Our teams at Norwich, from the station manager to our part time staff, all have the same AGS flexibility and airport community spirit that enables us to offer personal customer service.
February 2007
- AGS and Aviance UK have been working closely together over the past two years, both in operational and commercial areas and this has been a benefit to both companies. Looking to the future, we have been reviewing a number of options for further co-operation to build on the success to date and facilitate expansion of the business at Stansted. This has resulted in Aviance UK's acquisition of the passenger handling contracts and assets at Stansted.
Training
AGS remain very much in the arena at London Stansted, with our training centre based on the North side of the airport, and our instructors are kept very busy at airports throughout the UK and overseas, offering a range of disciplines to our customers.
